I was the gaffer for this revenge horror short film. Since the film involves physical manipulation of the brain, we got to create several surreal and offputting visuals that were a blast to work on. I wanted the room to feel rich and warm with harsh shadows that instantly set the tone. Candlelight and fire were my thematic heroes - used both when motivated by practical candles, but also to reflect the rising tension in our protagonist.
